Refund policy
Effective Date: 01 April 2025
This Returns & Refunds Policy is applicable to all purchases made on www.nawtumi.com, operated by Redhues Lifestyle Retailing, in accordance with the applicable laws of India, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
1. Return Window
Customers may initiate a return request within three (3) calendar days from the date of delivery of the product, as recorded in our delivery records.
2. Conditions for Return
A product will be eligible for return only if all of the following conditions are met:
a) The product is unused, unworn, and unwashed.
b) The product is free from stains, marks, odours, or any signs of usage.
c) The original tags, labels, and packaging are intact and undamaged.
d) The return request is made due to one of the following:
- Manufacturing defect
- Wrong product delivered
- Incorrect size delivered (different from what was ordered)
3. Non-Returnable Products
The following products shall not be eligible for return:
- Products purchased during clearance or sale events marked as Final Sale.
- Customized, personalized, or made-to-order products.
- Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper care by the customer.
4. Return Process
4.1 The customer must initiate the return request by logging into their account on the Website or by contacting our customer support at support@nawtumi.com within the return window.
4.2 Upon approval of the return request, we will arrange for reverse pickup through our logistics partners within 2–4 business days.
4.3 The product will undergo a quality inspection at our facility.
5. Refunds & Exchanges
a) If the product passes quality inspection, the customer may choose either:
- An exchange for the same product in the correct size or a different product of equal value, subject to availability, or
- A refund to the original payment method or as store credit.
b) Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days from the date of successful quality inspection.
c) For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer or store credit only.
6. Rejection of Returns
If the returned product fails to meet the eligibility criteria or fails the quality inspection, the return will be rejected, and the product will be shipped back to the customer at their cost.
7. Shipping Charges
Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on the part of Nawtumi.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Nawtumi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the return, exchange, or refund process.
- Our liability for any claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.
- Nawtumi shall not be responsible for any delays or failure in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or logistical delays.
9. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka.
